HEATON in Forbes: A Family Business with an International Reach

In the April issue of Forbes Czech Republic, we were honored to share our journey — from our beginnings in pharmaceutical regulatory services to our current expansion into Asia. For the first time, the interview brought together the entire Frič family: founders Jaroslava and Jaromír Frič, who started the company over twenty years ago, and their children Natálie Kazíková and Jaromír Frič Jr., who now lead HEATON. Together, they reflect not only on the challenges and achievements along the way, but also on the values that guide HEATON today: collaboration, trust, and respect.

The article outlines how our original vision developed into an independent pharmaceutical company with over 100 registered products, export operations, and branches in Germany, Slovakia, Romania, and most recently, Singapore. While our operations are now international, we remain firmly rooted in our family values, which shape every decision we make. “We complement each other, we don’t compete,” says founder Jaromír Frič. This philosophy has allowed us to grow steadily, without external investors, while maintaining a human and personal approach.

A key highlight of the interview is our new branch in Singapore, which marks HEATON’s entry into Southeast Asia. The first products from our GYNELLA line have already reached local patients, and further product registrations across the region are well underway. We believe Asia will play a major role in shaping the next phase of our growth, and we are confident that our emphasis on quality and innovation will resonate strongly in this dynamic market.
